A new joint venture between Ter Haak Group, Dutch Offshore Group and Rotterdam Offshore Group has been announced that will provide offshore base services from Amsterdam.
In a statement the companies aid Dutch Offshore Base would provide services to the maritime and offshore industry. Dutch Offshore Base has access to the open sea from the Port of Amsterdam. It also has facilities forvessels and jack-ups and 800m of quay available with a deep sea quay of up to 500m length, 60m breadth and 15m draft. The base will also offer a heavy lift crane capacity up to 1,400 tonne, a large open yard area of more than 100,000m2 and warehouse space of 30,000m2.
The facility will offer demobilisation and mobilisation for offshore vessels and for vessels serving the offshore wind industry. It will also offer supplier, sales/rental, and storage of equipment; repair and maintenance; high end mechanical services such as alignments, vibration and 3D measurements, 3D scanning and on site machining; and warehousing, transport, storage and inventory control.
