Legs fitted to installation vessel Seajacks ScyllaVessel & ROV News // August 12, 2015
Jack-up legs have been fitted to Seajacks Scylla, Seajacks new turbine installation vessel, which is being built at Samsung Heavy Industries.
Scylla was outfitted with 105m legs that have give the vessel the ability to install components in water depths of up to 65m.
The vessel also has a Huisman 1,500 tonne leg-encircling crane, useable deck space of in excess of 5,000m2, and has over 8,000 tonnes of available variable load.
Delivery is scheduled for March 2016 followed by the first load out of 67 monopiles at the base port of Eemshaven in the Netherlands in April 2016.
