Stewart Group analyses North Sea term market

    News // October 24, 2003
Shipbrokers The Stewart Group have described activity in recent weeks in the North Sea as "relatively inactive", but note that there have been some fixtures in the Mediterranean and West Africa. "It also seems likely that 2-4 modern medium PSVs will be required in India for long term drilling contracts," reported the company in its latest monthly report.

"In general, increasing international activity will soak up some of the over supply that presently exists in the North Sea," said The Stewart Group. "Despite this we still expect relatively weak market conditions to prevail during the winter months."
