Ultra Deep Solutions orders HD ROVVessel & ROV News // May 29, 2015
Flash Tekk, an agent of subsea support service provider Ultra Deep Solutions (UDS), has secured a contract for provision of a new ROV from manufacturer FMC Technologies Schilling Robotics.
The 4,000m-rated HD work-class system will be delivered and will mobilize in December 2015.
UDS recently an order for a newbuild vessel of Marin Teknikk design. The MT6023 design will have an 18-man, single bell sat dive spread.
With a length overall of the 111.58m and a beam of 23m the vessel will have dynamic positioning, accommodation for 120, a 150 tonne crane rated to 3,000m, plus 300m-rated 10 ton cranes and facilities to host the work-class ROVs.
