GAC opens new bases in EsbjergCompany News // April 15, 2015
GAC has expanded its Danish operation with the opening of a new office in the countryís largest port, Esbjerg.
The port is already well established as a hub for oil and gas operations, thanks to its strong connections with other European industry centres and direct links from its airport to Aberdeen and Stavanger, both home to thriving GAC operations. Further, its facilities are currently being expanded to meet the needs of the growing renewable energy sector and container shipping lines.
From the new base, GAC Denmark will provide shipping, logistics and marine support to its general shipping, offshore oil and gas and renewable energy customers.
The company' shipping manager Frederik Christiansen says the decision to open the new office reflects the groupís strategy to grow its oil and gas and renewable energy business in Europe.
