Noryards to build IMR vessel for BoaYard News // March 12, 2015
Noryards in Norway has secured a contract to build an IMR vessel for Boa. The total value of the contract is in the range of NKr 700 million. In addition to the firm contract, the deal includes two optional vessels.
Under the terms of the contract, Noryards will provide engineering, construction and outfitting. The design was developed in close cooperation between Noryards and Boa Offshore.
Delivery is scheduled for the first quarter of 2017. Hull construction will be subcontracted to one of Noryards’ partners in Turkey, Tersan shipyard. The hull is due to arrive at Noryards Fosen for outfitting in mid-2016.
