SBF Shipbuilders completes aluminum crewboat Yard News

SBF Shipbuilders of Western Australia has delivered to Abeer Marine Services of Indonesia the Abeer Thirty Nine a, 106ft x 23.6ft x 5.0ft aluminum crewboat. The ABS classed, Panama flagged vessel easily exceeded her promised cruising of 28 knots, loaded,during trials.
Abeer Thirty Nine is powered with a pair of Cummins KTA38-M2 high speed diesels each driving a 5-blade Mikado prop through a ZF 4540A marine gear. Ships power is provided by a pair of 68kW Cummins gensets. In addition a Cummins engine also supplies the power for a single dedicated MTP Aquaplus fire monitor pumpwhich is connected to a fire monitor mounted on the aft upper deck.
The vessel has seating for 116 passengers and a crew of 8 in five cabins, plus a galley/dinette, on the lower level. She has carrying capacity for 24,000liters of fuel and 10,000 liters fresh water.
A large, 80m2, timber lined aft deck accommodates an undisclosed amount of cargo. The wheelhouse is fitted with the latest in navaids from Furuno.
