    Indian yard completes crewboat

    Bharati Shipyard of Mumbai India has delivered the Atco Alia, a 111.5ft x 24.9ft x 6.9ft crewboat to owner A A Turki of Saudi Arabia.

    The ABS classed, steel hull vessel, with aluminum superstructure, was designed by Shiptech in Singapore.

    The vessel carries 30 passengers in the forward area of the main deck.

    Accommodation is provided for six crew in cabins below the main deck.

    The wheel house is located above the main deck and has twin controls forward and a single aft control station looking out over the rear deck area.

    The vessel is powered by three CAT 3412E diesels each producing 815kW and driving a Schaffran propeller and pushing the vessel to a maximum lightship speed of 17 knots. Auxiliary power is provided by twin 93 kVA Volvo Penta PSAT diesels. She has capacityfor 2832 tonnes of fuel and 11 tonnes fresh water.
