FET expands DYNACON facility in Texas

    Company News // August 1, 2014

Forum Energy Technologies (FET) has announced the completion of the expansion of its DYNACON facility in Bryan, Texas. The expansion effectively doubles the area of the manufacturing space at DYNACON to 110,775ft2, which includes larger welding and assembly shops.

In addition, a new 53,000ft2 testing facility has been added as well as a new state-of-the-art environmentally controlled blast and paint booth which will speed associated processes.

The implementation of multiple shifts, coupled with the new larger facilities, has enabled a significant reduction in cycle time for new equipment builds with additional cycle time reductions on the horizon.

DYNACON specializes in the design and manufacture of winches and handling systems for a wide variety of offshore applications ranging from ROV launch and recovery systems, oceanographic winches, A-frames, electro-hydraulic power units, motion-compensated cranes, and other deck equipment.
