Naming ceremony held for Island Performer

    Vessel & ROV News // July 3, 2014

A naming ceremony took place on 27 June for Island Offshore's latest newbuild, the subsea vessel Island Performer, which was built at Ulstein Verft and is now being prepared for FTO in the Gulf of Mexico.

The vessel is equipped with a large intervention tower over the main moonpool, a 250 tonne AHC crane and two work-class ROVs.

The vessel design was developed for riserless light well intervention and inspection, maintenance and repair.
