Fairmount completes Naga 3 towProjects and Operations // May 2, 2014
Fairmount Expedition has completed the tow of the jack-up rig Naga 3 from Labuan, Malaysia, to the PV Marine Shipyard in Vung Tau, Vietnam.
Fairmount Expedition mobilized from Singapore for the 575 mile voyage. During the voyage the Fairmount Expedition only made use of two of her four main engines.
Naga 3 is a Gusto MSC CJ46-X100-D design jack-up rig, built in 2010 by Dubai Drydocks World and owned by UMW Petropipe/Singapore Drilling.
At Vung Tau shipyard Naga 3 will be prepared for her next job offshore Vietnam for the Japan Vietnam Petroleum Company.
