    Wintermar takes delivery of Indonesian-flagged PSV

    PT Wintermar Offshore Marine has taken delivery of WM Pacific, which is claims is the largest PSV flying the Indonesian flag.

    WM Pacific is Wintermar's fourth and largest PSV and the only Indonesian-flagged PSV that is equipped with firefighting capability certified to FIFI 2 standard.

    The new vessel is 83m long, equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning and classed ABS A1 (E) Offshore Support Vessel notation. The vessel is also certified to participate in search and rescue operations and has oil recovery capability and is able to transport methanol.

    The new unit has a deck area of 1,000m2 and accommodation for 58 people.

    The company is currently in the process of tendering for several contracts for WM Pacific to support oil and gas exploration in Indonesia as well as outside Indonesia.

    WM Pacific was built in China by POET Shipbuilding and Engineering Pte Ltd. The vessel is owned by PT WM Offshore, a subsidiary of PT Wintermar Offshore Marine Tbk, in partnership with PT Meratus Line.
