    Osiris Projects charters Neptune

    Vessel & ROV News // February 6, 2014

Specialist seabed mapping company Osiris Projects has secured a long term charter for Neptune from Neptune EHF. The vessel is a 50m, DP1 multipurpose survey vessel accommodating up to 35 people for a duration of 40 days.

The vessel underwent extensive refits in 2008 and 2013 to provide a comfortable offshore platform capable of shallow or deep water survey operations.

Standard survey mobilisation includes 2dHR seismic array, two hull mounted MBES systems, high resolution side scan sonar, magnetometer, USBL, single channel as well as both a Vibrocore and CPT system.

The vessel can be readily reconfigured to accommodate a small work-class ROV. A fully enclosed survey workshop/garage opens directly onto the large main deck and 10 tonne A-frame.

Winch and container storage platforms above the main deck level allow a clear working space to be maintained during multi-discipline survey operations.

From April the vessel will be conducting survey operations in the UK and will then be operational throughout Europe.
