Olympic's latest newbuild at Kleven is an advanced IMR vessel.
Kleven shipyard in Norway has signed a contract with Olympic Shipping for construction of an inspection, maintenance and repair (IMR) vessel of MT 6021 design.
The contract is valued at around NKr 400 million, and the vessel will be delivered from Kleven Verft in March 2015.
The Marin Teknikk design is new and was developed in cooperation with the owner Olympic, focusing on efficient and environmentally-friendly solutions. The vessel will have an offshore crane, ROV hangars and significant accommodation capacity.
Kleven now has 13 vessels in its orderbook, at a total value of around NKr 8 billion.
