    Company News // January 8, 2014

Westsea Marine has achieved accreditation for Oil, Gas & Petrochemical Quality Management Certification and has become the first vessel management company in the Australasian region to attain ISO/TS 29001:2010 certification.

The certificate was presented by a representative of Bureau Veritas to Westsea Marine in December.

Westsea has successfully implemented its management systems complying with ISM, ISO 9001 (Quality Management), OHSAS 18001/AS4801 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 29001.

Operations Director, Dominic Lee, said: “Being first to be certified ISO 29001 in the Australasian region is a significant achievement and testament to the expertise and dedication of the Westsea shore and sea staff. This certification highlights the robustness of Westsea systems and procedures in our offices and on board our vessels."
