Wilson, Sons signs contract to build four OSRVs for OceanpactVessel & ROV News // January 6, 2014
Wilson Sons Limited in Brazil has announced that, through its subsidiary Wilson Sons Estaleiros Ltda, it has signed a contract with Oceanpact Serviços Marítimos Ltda for the construction of four oil spill recovery vessels (OSRVs), with recovered oil storage capacity of 1,050m³, length of 67m, and beam of 14m.
The contract will be effective after the payment of the first installment of each vessel.
The vessels, which are expected to be delivered by 2016, will be built in Wilson Sons’
Shipyard complex, in Guarujá, São Paulo.
