Ørbeck-Nilssen appointed as President of DNV GL MaritimeCompany News // December 19, 2013
Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen has been appointed President of DNV GL Maritime. Mr Ørbeck-Nilssen will take up the position from 1 January 2014. He will be member of the Executive Committee and operate out of Hamburg.

Mr Ørbeck-Nilssen holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University where he was awarded a First Class Honour’s Degree in Civil Engineering in 1990. He also has an undergraduate degree from Oslo Polytechnic in Civil Engineering from 1987. He began his career in DNV in Oslo in 1990 as a structural engineer. His experience includes a variety of technical disciplines, project management and different management positions.
