    Gulf Offshore's Terry Brown passes away

    Terry Brown passed away in the early hours of November 30th.

    It is with great sadness that Offshore Shipping Online passes on the news that Terry Brown (59), Gulf Offshore's longstanding Technical Manager, died suddenly and peacefully in Scotland in the early hours of November 30th. 

    Mr Brown was a giant presence, both in personality and stature, in the OSV industry for many decades, and loyally served parent company GulfMark for over 25 years. He was a man of outstanding technical brilliance, with the greatest passion for life, and a man completely and totally devoted to his loving family.

    His funeral will take place at the West Chapel,  Aberdeen Crematorium, Hazlehead, Aberdeen AB15 8PT on Tuesday 10th December at 2.55pm. Refreshments will follow at the Marcliffe Hotel, North Deeside Road, Pitfodels, Aberdeen AB15 9YA.

    The family have advised that flowers are welcome and can be sent to the Funeral Directors, Emslie S Collier, Broomfield Rd, Montrose, Angus, Scotland DD10 8SY, or donations can be made on the day in Terry’s memory to the Aberdeen Seafarers Centre.
