Ceona opens office in HoustonCompany News // November 29, 2013
As part of its continued growth strategy, SURF and subsea construction contractor Ceona has opened an office in Houston, Texas.
The company, which is headquartered in London (UK) and has an office in Aberdeen (Scotland, UK), has taken up residence in the Murphy Exploration Building in the city's Memorial neighbourhood.
The opening was celebrated with a cocktail party in the new office itself, at which members of the Ceona executive team were joined by industry peers and press.
Steve Preston, Ceona's Chief Executive Officer, spoke at the event: "We're expanding our teams on both sides of the Atlantic, and the opening of this larger office in Houstonís Energy Corridor represents a new milestone for us," he said.
"It's important for Ceona to have a strong local presence, and we are building an excellent, experienced team who will work closely with clients and partners based here on the ground."
Mr Preston also gave a progress update on the company's two new build vessels, Polar Onyx and Ceona Amazon, which are on track to enter service in March 2014 and January 2015 respectively.
