Eastern Shipbuilding delivers Harvey Deep-SeaVessel & ROV News // July 30, 2013
Eastern Shipbuilding Group in the US has delivered Harvey Deep-Sea, the fourth of its Tiger Shark class offshore support vessels constructed for Harvey Gulf International Marine.
The yard said Harvey Deep-Sea was delivered on July 19, 2013. The vessel was launched at Eastern's Allanton Facility in mid-December of last year and is the second multipurpose light construction vessel for Harvey Gulf.
Eastern Shipbuilding Group has now constructed 11 vessels for Harvey Gulf since 2002.
The yard also recently signed contracts for its 12th, 13th and 14th vessels to be constructed for the same customer, Harvey Subs-Sea, Harvey Blue-Sea, and Harvey Intervention, all of which are STX Marine IMR-340H IMR vessels.
