Century Marine Services Ltd has appointed Phil Maley as its agent in Perth, Western Australia.
Based in Perth, he adds knowledge and expertise based on his many years involvement in the oil, gas and offshore industries. The company, which is based in Hythe in the UK, is an international shipbroking company engaged in the sale and purchase and chartering of tugs, barges, offshore and other specialist vessels.
Mr Maley started his working life in 1974 as a mechanical engineer and in 1981 joined a Chevron subsidiary to design and build onshore and offshore production facilities in Australia and the US. In 1995 he and Tony Russell-White founded the successful shipbroking firm Wotech which specialised in the sale, purchase and charter of tugs, barges and offshore vessels.
