    New projects completed at A&P North East

    June saw a number of projects at A&P North East ship repair yard in the UK.

    The Tyne saw a number of ship projects completed:

     Sanko Mineral (Sanko Ship Management Co. Ltd) - Vessel docked Tuesday 28th of May and undocked 7th June on time. All work completed with a very happy new customer. General dry docking work.

     Island Enforcer (Talisman) Returned to the yard on 29th June to install a large Ampelmann gangway unit with supporting structures. It sailed on the 10th July after a very successful mobilisation.

     Geco Diamond (Western Geco) vessel arrived on 15th May and moored alongside on the Bede Quay to have anti-piracy security panels fitted as well as general afloat work. Sailed away on 24th June on time and with another happy new customer.

    At the company's Tyne fabrication facility, there are a number of contracts in progress. The fabrication and welding works for 72 down pipes for the Guala Lula project on behalf of Balltec nears completion. Also on behalf of Brastec, an under roller assembly structure is being erected in the fabrication shed. This is due to complete early July.

    June also saw five skids for containers being fabricated for TSG Marine and will be installed onto Island Crown when she arrives alongside Bede Quay for a mobilisation (W2W) project. The ship was due to arrive on 19 July.
