North Sea success for HarkandProjects and Operations // July 4, 2013
Harkand says the North Sea has been a "hive of activity" in quarter two with Harkand Atlantis, Loch Roag and Relume all "working flat out."
Loch Roag commenced a long term charter with Harkand on 01 April and a mezzanine deck was installed before the vessel set sail for TAQA Bratani Ltd to perform route survey and pipeline inspection work. Next up was moorings and riser inspection for Petrex at Ithaca Energy’s BW Athena FPSO, a route survey scope for Apache North Sea and pipeline inspection and CP mattress installation for TAQA Bratani Ltd.
Relume has been busy working for BG Group on caisson restraint installation and platform inspection work, along with a campaign for TAQA Bratani Ltd in the northern North Sea performing platform inspection.
Harkand Atlantis has continued to build its track record with subsea field life extension work for CNR International, general IMR work for EnQuest PLC and TAQA Bratani Ltd, as well as inspection work at the Ithaca
Energy’s Jacky field for Petrex.
"Quarter three is also shaping up well and we’re looking forward to an equally busy second half of the year," said the company.
