STX OSV reports on fourth quarter and FY 2102

    Company News // February 27, 2013

STX OSV has revenues of NKr 11,129 million for FY 2012, down 10 per cent from NKr 12,401 million in FY 2011.

EBITDA of NKr 1,473 million for FY 2012, down 37 per cent from exceptional NKr 2,355
    million in FY 2011.

EBITDA margin, representing EBITDA to total operating revenues, of 13.2 per cent for
FY 2012, was down from an exceptional 19.0 per cent in FY 2011.

Order intake in the fourth quarter of 2012 was NKr 1,272 million. Order intake may vary significantly on a quarter-by-quarter basis.

48 vessels were in the order book as at 31 December 2012, of which 27 of SYX OSX design.

The company said there had been lower-than-expected new order intake resulting in temporarily lower utilization at some yards.

The company's Brazilian operations are still affecting group performance. Various measures have been taken to secure delivery of the orderbook in Niterói.

Recently, there has been a robust subsea support and construction vessel market, and early signs of improvement in the segment for large and ultra-large anchor handlers (AHTS).
