Van Aalst and CargoMaxx expand agency network into Korea and Turkey

    Company News // February 26, 2013

Van Aalst Marine & Offshore BV, the Dutch bulk handling systems specialist, has expanded its agency network into Korea and Turkey.

In order to cope with the worldwide increasing interest in its range of bulk handling solutions for (mobile) offshore drilling units, offshore support vessels and cement carriers, in both areas locally well established companies have been appointed.

In Korea, Utopia Korea Ltd, headed by Sam Sung R Lee, will mainly focus on the bulk handling and drill cuttings systems on board newbuild drill ships, jack-ups and semi-submersibles, as marketed under the CargoMaxx brand.

In Turkey, Atlantis Marine Services Ltd, headed by A Caner Ararat, will mainly focus on liquid and dry bulk handling systems on board PSVs, anchor handlers and self-discharging cement carriers.
