Subsea 7 orders DSVVessel & ROV News // November 23, 2012
Subsea 7 has signed a contract to build a new Dive Support Vessel (DSV). The new vessel will be delivered in 2015 and will be built by Korean company Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI).
"The vessel will reinforce our leading diving capabilities with one of the world’s largest DSV fleets, and enable us to continue to serve our clients in an efficient, cost-effective and safe manner on many future projects," said Subsea 7 in a statement.
This will be the third new-build DSV to join the Subsea 7 fleet in recent years, having taken delivery of Seven Atlantic in 2010 and Seven Havila in 2011.
