// September 17, 2004
C & C Technologies in the US has completed survey-positioning services in support of the ConocoPhillips' Magnolia TLP installation. Saipem, the installation contractor, subcontracted C & C for the TLP tow out and TLP tendon integration.
During the initial installation phase, C & C provided surface positioning aboard Saipem's S-3000 DP derrick barge, while providing subsurface ROV positioning during the tendon installation. Throughout the tow out, C & C positioned four tugs and the TLP from Gulf Marine Fabrication yard to Garden Banks block 783.
After arriving on location, USBL (Ultra Short Base Line) acoustics were used to assist with the subsea TLP tendon integration.
