IKM Subsea Singapore has been awarded a contract by Larsen & Toubro for ROV services onboard the LTS3000 for their project in Myanmar.

Equipment was due to be mobilized in mid-October and the project is anticipated to run through till end January 2013 for pipeline and jacket installation.

IKM Subsea will be providing the in house built Merlin WR200 Workclass ROV and the Sub Atlantic Comanche onboard the vessel to support the operations.

IKM Subsea Business Development Manager, Mahesh Govindan said the contract award is a significant accomplishment for the company who recently started the office in Singapore early this year.

The company intends to grow rapidly as a stand-alone ROV operator and would expand the ROV fleet further with two more work-class ROVs in the first quarter of 2013.
