EMAS AMC wins subsea contract offshore Vietnam

Ezra Holdings Limited has announced that its subsea construction division, EMAS AMC, has been awarded a contract from Petroleum Technical Services Corporation Mechanical and Construction (PTSC M&C) for the transportation and installation of facilities for the Dua subsea field, which will be developed as a subsea tie-back to the Chim Sao Field in offshore Vietnam.
The contract value is approximately US$47 million and will commence in the third quarter of 2012.
The contracted scope of work includes the transportation, testing, inspection, installation and commissioning of subsea flowlines, structures, risers and umbilicals.
The work is expected to commence in the first quarter of 2013 and will take place in Block 12W in offshore Vietnam.
The Ezra group of companies has been involved in the life-of-field development at Chim Sao, from the fabrication of module stools at TRIYARDS in Vietnam to the provision, installation and commissioning of the floating production, storage and offloading vessel, Lewek EMAS.
