Kenz Canes delivers crane for Seajacks jack-up
Equipment & Technology - September 25, 2012
Kenz Cranes recently delivered a 400 tonne boom hoist offshore pedestal crane to Seajacks.
After being tested and commissioned the crane was transported from Kenz's construction quay in Zaandam to Amsterdam, and installed onboard Seajacks’ jack-up vessel Leviathan.
The 400 tonne pedestal crane, which has a 78m outreach, was custom-designed for the installation of offshore wind turbines, and replaces a 300 tonne main crane and 100 tonne auxiliary crane.
The crane is also suitable for shallow waters subsea operations in the oil and gas industry.
