New contracts for DOF

DOF Subsea has entered into a contract with Helix Well Ops for the vessel Skandi Constructor. The contract is for three years firm with 3 x 1 year options. The contract will commence in the second quarter of 2013.

Skandi Constructor is owned by DOF Subsea and is a well intervention vessel of Ulstein SX 121 design built in 2009. The vessel has a LOA of 120.2m and a breadth of 25.0m and is equipped with a 150 tonne crane and a multi-purpose tower with 140 tone lift capacity.

Norskan/DOF Subsea Brazil have agreed with Petrobras a two-year extension for Skandi Chieftain from the third quarter of 2012.

Skandi Chieftain is a RSV with ROVs and various deck mounted subsea equipment. Skandi Chieftain has been working for Petrobras since 2009.

The total value of the firm periods is approximately NKr 825 million.
