    New contracts in India for Solstad

    Contracts, Tenders and Rates // September 3, 2004
    Solstad Offshore ASA has entered into a contract with the Indian company Reliance Industries Ltd a charter for the anchor handling vessels Normand Drott and Normand Jarl.

    The duration of the contracts is about 12 months.

    In addition, a Letter of Intent has been received by the company from the same charterers for a charter for the anchor handling vessel Normand Prosper, for about 180 days.

    The vessels will be used in connection with Reliance Industries Ltd's drilling programme on the Indian continental shelf.

    Solstad has also won the contract for the tow of the drilling rig that will be used, from Egypt to India.
