    Solstad in Norway has provided OSO with more details about the new construction vessel it is building, Normand Installer.

    The new vessel is a Vik-Sandvik design and will be 124m long with a breadth of 28m.

    The installed engine power will be 23,000kW, and the ship will be equipped to DP Class 3, with a 500 tonne winch, a 250 tonne subsea crane, a 250 tonne A frame, and will have deck area of approximately 2,500m2, plus a moonpool and accommodation for 100.
