NDM wins contract for winches on Havyard 857 design

NDM has secured a contract with Havyard Ship Techology in Leirvik, Norway for delivery of winches to a newbuilding for Forland Shipping. The vessel is an offshore construction vessel of Havyard 857 design.
NDM will deliver a combined windlass/mooring winch; two mooring winches; four capstans; and two tugger winches.
All of the winches are electrically driven and will be delivered to the shipyard in March 2013.
