Solstad acquires Nor Spring and Nor Captain

Solstad Offshore has taken over the ownership of the anchor handlers Nor Spring and Nor Captain.
The vessels had been on a bareboat contract with Solstad Offshore from Java Marine Lines for nearly five years and the Norwegian company has used its options to acquire the vessels at a cost of US$38 million.
Nor Captain is currently operating in the spot market in Southeast Asia; Nor Spring is chartered to Bibby Offshore on a three-year bareboat contract.
