Island Offshore takes delivery of LNG-fuelled PSV
Vessel & ROV News - June 21, 2012
Island Offshore in Norway recently took delivery of Island Crusader from STX OSV, Brevik.
The vessel is a UT 776 CDG, where G stands for 'gas operation.'
Island Offshore says the vessel is the first offshore supply vessel in the world to operate in DP 2 mode without using conventional diesel fuel.
The hull was built at STX OSV Braila, Romania and fitted out at STX OSV in Brevik.
