DeepOcean AS awarded a contract by AF Group

DeepOcean AS, a subsidiary of DeepOcean Group Holding, has been awarded a contract by AF Group in connection with the removal and recycling contract for the B-11 riser platform cessation project for Statoil.
The contract was awarded on behalf of Gassco as operator for Gassled, and is an option in an existing contract DeepOcean was awarded in 2011 for similar work at the H-7 platform.
The platform, which is part of a gas pipeline system that transports gas to Europe, is located on the German continental shelf of the North Sea.
The work covers planning, engineering and execution of subsea removal work on the jacket substructure as well as preparatory inspections and seabed intervention work offshore. In this context DeepOcean will use its own vessels as well as ROVs and cutting equipment.
The work will start immediately and will be completed by the end of 2016.
