New contracts for Eidesvik

Eidesvik in Norway has entered into several new contracts.
The Leiv Eriksson Consortium has awarded Eidesvik two contracts, for Viking Lady and Viking Athene. The firm period is 15 wells + up to 18 optional wells, starting in the first quarter of 2013.
Lundin Norway AS has declared an option for the use of Viking Prince for seven wells.
Statoil and Eidesvik have agreed to exchange Viking Lady with Eidesvik's newbuild Viking Princess when she is delivered from Kleven shipyard in September 2012.
“It is very satisfying that our customers once again shows us trust and assign long term contracts with us,” said the company's CEO Jan Fredrik Meling.
"With all of Eidesvik's LNG driven vessels now on long-term contracts this shows that our innovative work with Viking Energy, the world's first LNG-powered offshore vessel, delivered in 2003, is again paying off."
