STX OSV to build innovative PSV for Troms Offshore

STX OSV Holdings Limited has entered into a Letter of Intent with Troms Offshore
Supply for the design and construction of a PSV.
Troms Offshore and Statoil have agreed to enter into a charter for the operation of
the vessel.
The contract for the design and construction of the ship is expected to
be entered into by the end of June 2012.
The vessel, of STX OSV’s PSV 07 design, is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2013 from STX OSV in Norway. The hull will be delivered from STX OSV in
Romania.
PSV 07 is a new innovative design developed by STX OSV. The vessel will be a
Clean Class, environmentally-friendly diesel-electric ship with a focus on low fuel
consumption and reduced emission of greenhouse gases.
The vessel will be 94.5m long with a breadth of 21m and free deck space of 1,170 m2. With a deadweight of 5,700 tonnes, the ship will be one of the largest PSVs in the market.
