L&T to build four vessels for Halul Offshore

Local news sources report that L&T Shipbuilding in India has secured orders to build a totla of four offshore vessels for Halul Offshore Services Company in Qatar. The orders are for two PSVs and two anchor handlers.
The PSVs will be equipped for firefighting, rescue and standby, offshore supply and oil recovery. The vessels will have diesel-electric propulsion and DP2 dynamic positioning capability.
The anchor handlers will have a bollard pull of 90 tonnes will be equipped for emergency response and rescue, offshore supply and oil recovery.
