Marin Teknikk designing large construction vessel for Rem Offshore

Norwegian naval architect Marin Teknikk has signed a contract with Rem Offshore and Kleven Maritime for the design of a subsea support and construction vessel of the MT6022 design.

The vessel is the seventh ship of this design and the third contracted by Rem Offshore.

The MT6022 design has a length of 108m and breadth of 22m with accommodation for a total of 110. The ship will be equipped with a 250 tonne offshore crane that can work at depth of up to 3,000m. It will also have two work-class ROVs and an observation-class ROV.
