Ulstein design delivered by Estaleiro Alianca in Brazil
Vessel & ROV News - May 15, 2012

CBO Pacifico was built by Estaleiro Alianca.
The ULSTEIN-designed platform supply vessel CBO Pacifico left Estaleiro Alianca shipyard on 10 May 2012 and went straight into contract for Petrobras. The vessel is the second of the PX106 design delivered to CBO this year.
“The finish and quality of these vessels are impeccable. We are very pleased with the good co-operation we have had throughout these projects with shipowner CBO and the Estaleiro Alianca yard,” said Ingar Kaldhol at Ulstein Design & Solutions.
These first two PX106 vessels are relatively small vessels that comply with Petrobras’ PSV 3000 tender. The next four ULSTEIN designs for Brazil are of the larger PX105 design that complies with the PSV 4500 tender. All vessels will be working on 8 year contracts for Petrobras.
