Solstad unveils results for first quarter 2012

Solstad in Norway says operating income for the first quarter 2012 was NKr 788 million, an increase of 18 per cent compared to the first quarter of 2011.

Cashflow from operations (EBITDA) was NKr 288 million (NKr 248 million).

A dividend of NKr 1.50 per share for 2011 was passed by resolution at the company's recent Annual General Meeting.

Overall, said the company, it has entered into several long-term contracts on better terms and conditions than in recent months.
