Vessel & ROV News - May 9, 2012
Sanco Shipping in Norway has ordered another seismic research vessel of the ST-324 design from Kleven Maritime.
The vessel, to be named Sanco Sword, is a sistership of Sanco Swift, which they ordered in June last year.
Main dimensions will be 96m x 21.5m, and with a powerful diesel mechanical propulsion machinery the vessel will be capable of towing up to 14 streamers simultaneously.
This is the second seismic vessel of Skipsteknisk design for Sanco Shipping.
Sanco Sword will be delivered in the first quarter of 2014. On delivery the ship will enter a five-year charter party with Dolphin Geophysical.
