Oceanteam takes delivery of new modular carousel

Oceanteam Shipping says its new 1,250 tonne modular carousel system has completed trials and has been mobilized for Visser & Smit Marine Contractors in The Netherlands for a minimum of 200 days onboard Solstad Offshore CSV Normand Flower. The Normand Flower has been contracted for a renewables project in the southern North Sea.
The patented turntable is designed for flexibility and quick mobilization on PSVs/CSVs with a minimum of 5 tonnes/m2 deck capacity.
The modular system is delivered to the mobilization site in 40ft containers and can be mobilized without underdeck reinforcement.
