CTC Marine Projects awarded contract on Dolwin 1

CTC Marine Projects, Ltd, part of DeepOcean Group Holding, has won a multi-million pound contract award for Dolwin 1, Germany.
The workscope, for client EMAS AMC, will include the trenching of 62.34km of a bundled HVDC power cable from 14m water depth and trenching of a power cable from Dolwin Alpha West Platform to Borkum West II Platform.
CTC will mobilise its new integrated trenching spread for this project, consisting of the converted vessel Northern Wave equipped with T2 trencher upgraded to 3m jetting capability and a deck-fed system. It will also be supported by CTC'fs 1.5MW jet trencher, PT-1.
The project is expected to commence in field in late September.
