Dolphin Geophysical holds naming ceremony for new vessel

Dolphin Geophysical has announce the naming of Polar Duchess at Vågen, Bergen on 30th March 2012.

Polar Duchess is a purpose built high-end 3D vessel, capable of towing 14 streamers at 100m separation. The vessel will be rigged with Sercel SSAS Sentinel streamers and is a sistership to Polar Duke.

Polar Duchess is already contracted to TGS and will commence her upcoming survey in the Barents Sea imminently.
