Island Offshore orders UT 737 CD subsea vessel

Island Offshore has entered into a contract with STX OSV Brevik shipyard to build a UT 737 CD design subsea vessel.
The vessel's main parameters will be a length overall of 96m loa, 21m beam and accommodation for approximately 70.
The unit will be outfitted with complete handling systems for two work class ROVs and have a 125 tonne active heave compensated subsea crane.
The vessel will be delivered in February 2014.
