    Naming ceremony held for Fred Olsen's latest wind turbine support craft

    The naming ceremony for Bayard 3, Fred Olsen Windcarrier's latest wind turbine support craft, took place on 17 February.

    The ceremony took place at the waterfront in Mandal, Norway with Fred Olsen himself present.

    "The Bayard class has been designed to best serve the high demands of the wind industry," said the company. "it is purpose-built for safe and efficient transport of crew and cargo to and from offshore wind farms, the Bayard class sets the standard for future crew vessels."
