    Grandweld Shipyards delivers dive/support vessel to ADNOC

    Grandweld Shipyards has delivered Aradah, a 55m Dive and Maintenance Support Vessel (DMSV) built for ADNOC.

    The DMSV is the first of its type to be built by Grandweld Shipyards.

    The vessel is equipped with 360 degree Schottel propulsors and will serve dive and maintenance operations offshore Abu Dhabi.

    In keeping with its role Aradah is also equipped with a dynamic positioning system.

    The vessel is also equipped with a subsea crane of 70 tonnes @ 14m capacity.

    Aradah has two self-contained integrated diving systems complete with decompression chambers in order to facilitate under water diving operations.

    In addition, the vessel is equipped with external firefighting equipment to FiFi 1 class.
